A scientist and his wife, both worked at American nuclear research facility, has been arrested and accused of trying to sell secret nuclear weapons to an FBI agent who they suspect as an official of Venezuela.Justice Department says Pedro Leonardo Mascheroni, Argentine-born American citizen, and his wife Marjorie Mascheroni Roxby, was arrested Friday and appeared in federal court in Albuqueque, New Mexico. Both are former contract workers in Los Alamos national laboratories.

The indictment did not accuse that Venezuela or whoever is acting on his behalf to obtain or are given confidential information.Prosecutors accuse the 22-article charges that Mascheroni told an FBI agent in disguise that he can help the Venezuelan develop a nuclear bomb within 10 years.
