Coriander Help Relieve Rheumatoid Arthritis Pain

As with other spices, coriander contains antioxidants, compounds that are expected to help control inflammation and prevent chemical damage to the body, by destroying free radicals. People with rheumatoid arthritis have low levels of antioxidants in the blood when compared with healthy people. According to research in the journal Food Chemistry, 2004, coriander seeds and leaves contain antioxidant extracts.

Other health benefits of coriander is to have antibacterial properties that kill harmful viruses, including E. coli, salmonella and MRSA. The leaves are also a source of vitamin K, which has been associated with reduced risk of some cancers. These results obtained from a study of 2011 in Portugal.I have found no studies that prove that coriander can assist RA in humans, but it's worth adding this plant RA patients in everyday foods.
