Against China, U.S. ready to help the Philippines


The U.S. government expressed readiness to provide hardware to upgrade the Philippine military weaponry. This is done to give the Philippines the capacity to face the threat of China in the South China Sea.It is delivered by U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in a press conference after his meeting with Philippine Foreign Minister, Albert del Rosario, in Washington, Friday, June 24, 2011.

"We are committed to supporting the defense of the Philippines," said Clinton quoted from the pages of The Telegraph.Clinton said today the two countries central to determine what military equipment required by the Philippines. To determine this, the plan Rosary will meet with U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, and several other Pentagon officials.
